Cibelle Donza is Principal Conductor and Artistic Director of the Amazon Philharmonic Orchestra (FILMA Orchestra). She has been gaining recognition as both a conductor and composer, noted for the growing impact of her artistic work. She holds a Master’s degree in Orchestral Conducting from Ithaca College, New York.

As a guest conductor, she has led major orchestras including the Minas Gerais Symphony Orchestra, the UNICAMP Symphony Orchestra (OSU), the Espírito Santo Symphony Orchestra (OSES), the Theatro da Paz Symphony Orchestra (OSTP), the National Theatre Claudio Santoro Symphony Orchestra (Brasília), the Cornell Open Orchestra (Cornell University, USA), and the Cayuga Chamber Orchestra (NY, USA).

She has also conducted the Minas Gerais Philharmonic Orchestra (OFMG), the University of São Paulo Symphony Orchestra (OSUSP), and the Ithaca College Symphony Orchestra (ICSO, USA) in concerts held within highly selective and prestigious training programs for conductors.​​

Coming from a family of jazz musicians (daughter of singer Dayse Addario), since 2011 she has also conducted the Zarabatana Jazz Band, a family-founded big band that cultivates an original repertoire where jazz intertwines with Amazonian sounds.​​​

In line with the tradition of great conductors of the past, Donza also stands out as a prolific composer.

​As a composer, she was awarded the Habib Sharifi Fellowship in 2024, which granted her an artistic residency in Paris, where she developed an intercultural work blending Amazonian and Persian influences. In 2023, she received the Funarte Composition Prize in the Symphony Orchestra category — one of the most prestigious recognitions for musical creation in Brazil.

Her symphonic works have frequently appeared in concert programs through commissions and performances by orchestras in Brazil and abroad, including the Petrobras Symphony Orchestra, the Minas Gerais Symphony Orchestra, the Theatro da Paz Symphony Orchestra (OSTP), the Santa Fe Symphony (Argentina), the Santo André Symphony Orchestra (OSSA), the USP Chamber Orchestra (OCAM), the Campinas Municipal Symphony Orchestra (OSMC), the Academia Jovem Concertante Orchestra (Rio de Janeiro), the Espírito Santo Symphony Orchestra (OSES), the UNICAMP Symphony Orchestra, and the National Theatre Claudio Santoro Symphony Orchestra (Brasília).
